2018 Legends & Stars Match Supporting BC Children's Hospital
Whitecaps FC alumni and special celebrity guests return to BC Place for the annual Legends & Stars charity match supporting BC Children's Hospital. The match will take place from 4:45pm to 5:45pm, followed by the MLS match between Vancouver Whitecaps FC and Seattle Sounders FC at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $5 with all proceeds donated to BC Children's Hospital. Fans must have a ticket for the MLS match to attend the Legends & Stars match.

2018 Maria Cordero S.U.C.CE.S.S. Charity Concert
Originating from a humble background and at a young age, Maria Cordero is gifted with multi talents in singing, dancing and acting. Maria began her professional singing career in 1985 at the Canton Disco, a popular rendezvous for local celebrities, artists and people from the entertainment industry. Her outgoing and pleasant personality generated friendships with many of the clientele, plus her powerful, versatile and original vocal style soon attracted the attention and admiration of the local music industry people. Since 1987 Maria has recorded and released 16 albums. The highlight of her entertainment career came in 1995, when Maria was invited by the then President of the USA, Bill Clinton, to attend a charity award ceremony where she was presented with the "Asian American Award", for her commitment to charitable causes.

The music icon is known for including electric chairs, fake blood, boa constrictors and baby dolls in his stage show, designed to shock the audience. Alice in Chains is an influential grunge group formed by lead singer Layne Staley (1967-2002). Along with Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, Alice in Chains is one of the most commercially successful bands from the Seattle, Washington, grunge music scene. Unlike many of their peers, Alice in Chains owed more to heavy metal than to punk or '70s rock, but the group became closely associated with grunge due to their Seattle roots, the image they often presented by their attire, as well as with their introspective and sometimes morbid lyrics.
